Vaping Etiquette: Do’s and Dont's

Vaping Etiquette: Do’s and Don'ts

Vaping Etiquette: Do’s and Dont's

Being part of the vaping community means that we have to understand that not everyone is familiar with vaping. Each and every one of us an ambassador for vaping, so we should put our best foot forward. What is considered to be disrespectful behavior in the vaping community varies based on who you ask. Consider the below do’s and dont's as suggestions rather than rules because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

  • DO Ask Permission:
        • If it’s not your house, then it’s not your rules
        • Don’t vape where you wouldn’t smoke without permission

  • DON’T Judge Smokers or Non-Vapers:
        • We are not better, only better informed, and everyone is entitled to their own personal freedoms
        • Smokers and non-vapers have the right to make their own choices
        • Don’t criticize smokers like non smokers criticized you before you switched

  • DON’T Blow Vapor In Someone’s Face:
        • People who are eating can lose their appetite from the smell
        • Even though it might smell good, no one likes smoke or vapor in their face
        • Avoid vaping in small confined areas (ex. theater or public transportation)
        • It is unnecessary and can be avoided

  • DO Educate and Enlighten:
        • If someone is unfamiliar with vaping, elaborate a little about it
        • You can possibly help someone quit
        • You can eliminate the common negative view people have on vaping
        • Everyone has their own story, share yours and be honest

  • DO Keep Calm
      • Don’t let your conversation about vaping turn into a heated argument
      • Some people may not feel the same way about vaping as you, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions

We don’t want other people to look negatively towards vaping. So remember that whenever someone sees you vaping, they are developing a view on ALL vapers. Be kind, and please try and follow some of the suggestions given above. Happy vaping everyone!
