Wismec RX200 Box Mod Review
Wismec & Jaybo teamed up to deliver the Reuleaux DNA200, a high-powered triple-18650 box mod that's sweeping the vape community with its industry-leading DNA control chip. But they've also kept those in mind who had a tighter budget and couldn't splurge on the costly DNA200 powered original.
The Reuleaux RX200 Box Mod shares all the design cues and external features of the popular DNA model, but features a Wismec chip that powers and modulates its performance. Aside from the chipset used for the Reuleaux RX200 Box Mod, everything else remains the same between the two models. The cost-friendly Reuleaux RX200 Box Mod comes in to deliver 200 watts of solid power reliably and safely by splitting the load between three 18650 cells rather than the two that other mods use – this means you can safely reach the mod's full potential using popular 20 amp batteries common in today's vape scene.
Capable of firing as low as 0.1 ohm in power mode and 0.05 ohm in temperature control mode, the Reuleaux RX200 Box Mod gives you a wide berth of options to customize your vaping profile. The .69" OLED screen makes it easy to adjust your settings via the sturdily-built control buttons on the face of the Reuleaux RX200 Box Mod. For the price and performance, this device works flawlessly with anything you can toss at it. In terms of durability, you'd be hard pressed to find a sturdier build, its base is not only designed to form to your hand but also to hold up to the rigors of daily vaping.
By comparison to the original Reuleaux, there isn't much difference except the evolv chip, but the Reuleaux RX200 Box Mod chip is also firmware upgrade-able and designers have already released 8 updates to its firmware at the time of this writing. We think this shows that Wismec's engineers are serious about optimizing the performance of the Reuleaux RX200 Box Mod well into the future.
