Vaping Across the US Tour Diary 1
It's 75 degrees and sunny with the bay mists rolling in and mixing with some delicious vape flavors. Over the next two weeks, #TeamBreazy will be cruising down the pacific coast, cutting across the south through joshua tree to Arizona, and eventually making our way to New Orleans. We’ll be stopping in towns along the way and checking out iconic american sights like the Grand Canyon and those huge roadside attractions with the green T-Rexs and Paul Bunyan. Yeah.
In NOLA, we’ll spend a few days vaping and drinking on the streets, living the life in the French Quarter and getting a feel for the exotic before making our way north towards Nashville and the blue ridge mountains, and eventually back up to New York City and our home in Greenpoint, Brooklyn
Today, we’re staying in the Mission District in San Francisco— the corner of Dolores and 18th, in a beautiful 1920s Mission Style house. Dolores park across the street, while frequently under construction, is arguably one of the best parks in the country, not to mention an incredible vape spot. The lot was bought by the city in 1905 and served as a refugee camp for homeless citizens after the 1906 earthquake. Now it’s one of the most desirable areas in the city to sunbath, people watch, and socialize.
After grabbing a burrito from our favorite mexican joint, El Buen Sabor, we trekked back up 18th street, from valencia and crossed the street into the park. As we climbed the hill, an eclectic scene of bay area citizens began to take place. Naked 100’s Lava Flow made for a great post-burrito snack as we vaped and watched park goes playing tennis and street ball.
After Dolores Park, we took an uber over to the Castro district. Word on the street was that a new statue of Donald Trump had been erected with a controversial quote placed at the base of its feet. Sure enough, we found ourselves staring at a life-sized Madam Tussaud-inspired statue of a naked Donald Trump, arms crossed and brows furrowed, looking out across the intersection of Castro, Market, and 17th street. Next to us stood two vapers puffing on Raging Donut as they stared puzzlingly at the statue. We asked them what their favorite purveyor of vape juice in the city was and they pointed us toward Gone With The Smoke in the Tenderloin District.
The Tenderloin, once one of the most dangerous areas in the city is home to Gone With The Smoke, and a few other stellar vape shops. Luckily, crime has gone down slightly, and we decided it would be well worth the risk to check out our new friends’ recommendation. At Gone With the Smoke, we found an incredible selection of Eliquids, tanks and starter kits, not to mention great sales and atmosphere.
We’ll be here for a few more days, checking out vape stores, seeing live music, and getting in a little bit of much needed partying in the Mission. On Monday, we leave for SoCal! Don’t forget to follow along with us on Instagram and leave a comment with your favorite west coast spots for vaping. Got any shop recs? Hit us up!
