Kanger KBOX 160W Box Mod

Seemingly boasting one of the most ambitious mod release schedules in the industry, Kanger is at it again - this time they're introducing an aesthetically-pleasing box mod capable of serious power output. The KBOX 160W Box Mod features one of the nicest silver finishes we've seen to date. While its shine falls a tad bit shy of chrome, this mod is definitely for those who love polished engine metal, because that's what it will remind you of. The KBOX 160W Box Mod splits the difference between Kanger's existing 120 and 200 watt versions which, while fantastic budget box mods, aren't built nearly as sturdily as the latest addition to the KBOX line.

With this mod, Kanger is looking to compete with devices at a higher price point, this means you can expect a higher construction and attention to detail as compared to previous offerings. The recessed screen on the KBOX 160W Box Mod is beautifully mounted, helping to prevent scratches or cracks. The positive and negative buttons are responsive with a great tactile click fixes some of the issues found in the 120-watt version. The minimum resistance for builds on the KBOX 160W Box Mod is 0.05 ohm, suitable for insane coil builds including those using both temperature-controlled and wattage-fired builds.

With the summer months ahead, those of us who enjoy an eye-catching setup can count on the paint on the KBOX 160W Box Mod to hold up nicely during our fun in the sun. Personally, I'm convinced that this new KBOX entry is the best box mod at its price point, and should easily punch above its weight, competing well with much higher-priced devices.
