Sigelei's Kaos Spectrum 230W Box Mod Is Worthy Of Excitement

For years we've seen vapers request box mod they can customize to fit their style and needs. From o-ring colors to box mod plates, we've seen companies pay attention to these requests to much success of the products. Last week the Sigelei Kaos Spectrum 230W Box Mod was finally revealed. This new Sigelei box mod features a first in vaping in the option to select 6 options of LED lighting that wraps around the screen. The option to shut it off is there for those of us who won't find a practical use for such features but it is still a very nice option to have for color coordinating options or for own personal preference. Now to some this may seem like a gimmick to sell a ton of units but the guts of the Kaos Spectrum 230W Box Mod say otherwise, Sigelei will be introducing its new chipset and firmware within this mod and from early reports it will be the most accurate chip we have seen to date from Sigelei. Those of us who purchased the Fuchai 213 box mod know all too well how important a good chipset and firmware are towards the quality of a product. Sigelei promises this time around to finally fix errors of the past.

Sigelei has needed a win after a murky 2016 that saw them concede market share to Smok and Asmodus. Both companies beat them on pricing and on product quality, so is the Kaos Spectrum 230W Box Mod the answer to Sigelei's resurgence? Quite possibly so, Sigelei needs a monster product and this might just be the pinnacle of what Sigelei has been working towards the last few years.

Our hopes for this product would be the release of a sub ohm tank with exceptional coil technology for a perfect pairing. What took the Alien Kit over the top was the TFV8 and it's expansive offering of coils. Kits generally do well because they are virtually ready to go out of the box and don't require the additional expense of adding a tank to your vape store shopping cart. At the time of this post we haven't heard of a Kaos Tank or any other sub ohm tank on its way from Sigelei but in order to achieve the full potential of this mod they may very well have one currently under development or even further along in testing which the public hasn't learned about just yet. I personally am excited to see how the Kaos Spectrum 230W Box Mod performs upon release because Sigelei was one of the first companies that did 100 watt plus vaping at an affordable price and made of durable materials.
