The folks doing the R&D at hardware powerhouse Smoktech must be putting in some serious overtime – it seems every time we turn around there's another mod getting ready to ship out!

But Smok isn't just slamming out product to flood the market, their latest offerings all bring unique and exciting features to the table. Last week we took a first look at the Skyhook mod with a first-of-its-kind built-in RDTA, now we turn our attention to the beast that is the Smok GX350.

The mod takes some serious stylistic cues from the popular Reuleaux triple-18650 mod while incorporating the full-side firing bar present on other popular Smok mods like the Alien. While it shares the same rounded shape as its competitor, the GX350 is actually smaller in both height and width, measuring just 84.5 mm high and 59.3 mm at its widest point.

A bottom-hinged battery door provides access to the four (four!) 18650 battery slots. Fully loaded, the mod can deliver an industry-leading 350 watts of power, or it can keep more modest coils steaming for days on end. There's also an option to run with just two cells to decrease weight, though power output in this mode is limited to 220 watts (and would require 30 amp cells to reach that safely).

A top-mounted LED screen integrates a single-bar power adjustment button, while the micro-USB port allows both charge and firmware update capabilities. Temperature control is offered for all standard wires, and the GX350 supports builds down to 0.06 ohm in TC or 0.1 ohm in power mode.

The mod is paired with Smok's popular TFV8 Cloud Beast tank, which comes with a sampling of Smok's quadruple- and octuple-coil heads, though a custom build is necessary to push past the maximum-recommended 260 watts for the tank. Still, we've had excellent results at much lower wattages, and we particularly love the convenient hinged lid for about the easiest leak-free refill system out there.

If the GX350 proves to perform as well as Smok's other recent offerings, we expect it quickly find a place among vaping's must-have devices – though we're also excited to see what else they have up their sleeve!
