Rounding out our vaping hardware year in review, today we'll be taking a look at some of the hottest Rebuildable Dripper Atomizer (RDAs) to occupy space on our shelves this year.

RDAs, once the workhorse of nearly every serious vaper, have taken a bit of a backseat as tanks, both rebuildable and with pre-built coils, have made drastic technological improvements in recent years. That said, those who use them will insist there's simply no match to be had when it comes to flavor and cloud production capability. Hardcore DIY enthusiasts still swear by drippers, and demand them in increasingly massive dimensions in order to tuck ever-more-elaborate builds under the top cap. With so many options, it's hard to narrow the selection, but here are some sure-fire winners:

Mutation XS Mini - While many RDAs are purpose-built for massive cloud builds, the Mutation XS Mini is aimed squarely at flavor chasers. With a compact design that's still got plenty of room for easy dual-coil builds using the classic Mutation four-hole build deck, flavor is compressed into a tight chamber made plenty airy by as many as 18 side air holes in addition to adjustable bottom airflow. A 5 mm deep juice well allows for hearty dripping sessions with minimal leakage.

Recoil RDA by Grimm Green & OhmBoyOc - Bearing the name of two of vaping's most prominent internet personalities, one can reasonably expect a top-quality design. The Recoil delivers with an oversized 22 mm build deck (and 24 mm overall diameter assembled), oversized quad posts with allen key grub screws for easy building, and a super-deep 7 mm juice well. The RDA comes with two interchangeable top caps for use in either cloud chasing or max flavor mode.

Neutron RDA by Jaybo & Wismec - The same design team that brought the insanely popular Reuleaux series of mods to life is behind this unique RDA, which employs a quad-hole, twin post design with a build style similar to the Velocity, making it one of the easiest builds out there for novice coil-twisters. The conical top cap allows for a unique vortex-style airflow, maximizing air mixing while employing an adjustable top-airflow style that makes the device all but leakproof, even for chronic over-drippers.

Geekvape Tsunami RDA - This innovative RDA has a style reminiscent of the flavor-chasing favorite Magma of years gone by, but with twin holes on each post for a seamless Velocity-style build. Bottom airflow puts fresh air directly on the coils, while three different top cap options allow for any user to find the perfect blend between clouds and flavor.
