What’s the Deal with Organic E-Juice? All You Need to Know

>

Something that I have noticed bubbling over into certain sects of the vape culture is organic e-liquid. So, what’s the deal here? Are these juices really better for you than non-organic e-liquids?

Truth be told, it’s not an easy question to answer, but I’ll start by saying that any time ingredients are closer to nature, carefully picked and sourced, it can only improve the quality of said item. The same could potentially go when it comes to e-liquids, but at the same time, can an e-liquid truly be organic, one asks?

All You Need to Know About Organic

From what I can tell, organic e-liquids claim to have naturally sourced flavorings and ingredients—meaning they are free of any artificial flavorings and colorings. That’s a legitimate concern for some folks, and if that’s you, then maybe organic e-liquids are worth a shot.

A lot of these organic brands are also GMO-free. Again, if you’re in search of an alternative that’s free of any time of additives you aren’t comfortable with, perhaps organic is the way to go. These juices are also generally free of any propylene glycol, which could mean these juices are a good option if you have any sensitivity to PG. Although PG is generally regarded as safe and proven to be non-toxic, some individuals do experience a sensitivity or allergic reaction to this ingredient. The nicotine in organic e-liquid is carefully sourced as well, but that’s not to say that the nicotine in non-organic juices isn’t. This is where this topic gets kind of tricky. Most brands of e-liquids are very concentrated on providing the best quality-sourced ingredients for their juices. So, if you’re interested in organic juices just for some pesticide-free nicotine or “safer” nicotine, you’re probably don’t need to transition to organic liquids at all. If you’re purchasing your liquids from companies that are sourced in the United States, in popular demand, and stand behind their products, odds are the ingredients are going to be every bit as good as those in organic juices; barring, perhaps, that fact that a lot of organic juices are free or artificial flavorings and PG.

The Conclusion

Honestly, unless you’re really into the idea of using anything and everything organic, organic e-liquids aren’t going to be all that different from a lot of the juices you’re probably already buying. There are some great organic liquids out there, don’t get me wrong, but aside from a couple differences, they’re just a heftier price tag for a juice that isn’t necessarily better quality or better for you.
