  • Empty pods with built-in coils (XROS, Novo, Caliburn G-series, Eco Nano): the whole pod is replaced when the coil wears out, typically every one to two weeks. Check the resistance – lower (0.6Ω) for airier draws, higher (0.8Ω–1.2Ω) for a tight draw and 50mg salt nic.
  • Empty pods that take separate coils (Nord 6, Caliburn G3 Pro, VOOPOO PnP): replace the pod only when it cracks or the seal wears; the coil is sold separately under vape coils.
  • Pre-filled pods (Foger Switch, RAZ Vue, iJoy XP100K): sealed, flavored pods that snap onto a rechargeable battery base – the refill for two-piece disposable vapes.

How often should you replace a vape pod?

An all-in-one pod with a built-in coil lasts about one to two weeks of daily use, or roughly 8–12 refills. Sweeter e-liquids and higher wattage shorten that. Replace it as soon as the flavor turns dull or burnt, vapor drops, or you get spitback or gurgling. A refillable pod that takes separate coils can last months; you only swap the coil.

How to get more life from every pod

  • Let a freshly filled pod sit for 5–10 minutes before the first puff so the cotton is saturated.
  • Never vape a pod dry; refill at about a quarter full.
  • Use the strength and style of juice the pod is designed for – 50/50 salt nic e-liquid in small mouth-to-lung pods, thicker freebase juice in wide-port sub-ohm pods.
  • Keep the pod's contacts and the device connection clean and dry to avoid "check atomizer" errors.

Empty pods vs pre-filled pods

Empty pods are refilled with your own juice and are by far the cheapest way to vape: a $10–$15 pack of pods and a 30ml bottle of salts replaces several disposables. Pre-filled pods are the convenience option for modular disposables like the Foger Switch, RAZ Vue and iJoy XP100K – you keep the rechargeable battery and just clip on a new flavor.

Are vape pods interchangeable between brands?

No. Pods are built for a specific device family: XROS pods fit XROS devices, Novo 2X pods fit the Novo 2X, Caliburn G3 pods fit the G3 line, and so on. Each listing names the compatible kits; when in doubt, match the model name printed on your current pod.

What's the difference between a vape pod and a vape cartridge?

They're the same thing in the e-liquid world: a small plastic reservoir with a coil that clicks into a pod-style device. "Cartridge" is more often used for pre-filled pods.

Can I refill a pre-filled disposable pod?

Pre-filled pods are sealed and not designed to be reopened. For a refillable setup, choose a pod system with empty pods from our pod vapes collection.

Do you sell vape pods for older devices?

We carry pods for the current Vaporesso, SMOK, Uwell, GeekVape and VOOPOO line-ups and keep popular previous-generation pods (Novo, Nord, Caliburn G2) as long as the manufacturers make them. If a pod for your device isn't listed, it's likely been discontinued.
