Freebase e-juice vs salt nic

Everything in this collection is freebase e-liquid unless the listing says "Salt": the traditional kind used in sub-ohm tanks, box mods and higher-wattage pod mods, sold in 0mg, 3mg, 6mg and 12mg strengths. Nicotine salts are a different formulation made for low-wattage pod systems and come in 20–50mg strengths; you'll find those in our salt nic vape juice collection. Put simply: big tank or mod, buy freebase; small pod device or you're replacing a disposable, buy salts.

Which nicotine strength should you buy?

  • 0mg: flavor only, no nicotine.
  • 3mg: the most popular strength for sub-ohm tanks and box mods.
  • 6mg: a stronger hit in sub-ohm setups, or a moderate level in pod devices with 1.0Ω+ coils.
  • 12mg: for mouth-to-lung vape pens and higher-resistance coils only; too harsh in a sub-ohm tank.

VG/PG ratio

Most vape juice here is 70/30 VG/PG, the sweet spot for sub-ohm tanks: thick vapor, smooth throat hit. Some brands run a slightly higher PG blend for more throat hit and flavor; the ratio is listed on each product page. If you're filling a small pod with tiny wick ports, 50/50 salt nic e-liquid wicks better than a max-VG freebase juice.

Bottle sizes and value

Keep bottles capped, out of sunlight and at room temperature. Unopened juice keeps for a year or more; once opened, plan to finish it within a few months for the best flavor. Darkening over time is normal nicotine oxidation.
